Oklahoma Policy Institute is proud to announce that John Feaver of Chickasha and Ann-Clore Duncan of Edmond have joined its Board of Directors.
John Feaver is President of the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma (USAO). John joined the faculty of USAO in 1980 and served as chair of the Division of Business and Social Sciences, Assistant to the President, and Vice President for Academic Affairs before being named the college’s 12th president in 2000. He earned his B.A., M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Oklahoma, and performed military service in Vietnam, where he was awarded the Bronze Star.
Ann-Clore Duncan is a community volunteer. She serves as education chair and a trustee to the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum Foundation and is past president of Girl Scouts Western Oklahoma and the Junior League of Oklahoma City. Ann-Clore is also active with United Way of Central Oklahoma and Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation. Her undergraduate degree is from DePauw University.
“We are greatly honored to have John Feaver and Ann-Clore Duncan join the Board of Oklahoma Policy Institute,” stated Board Chair Vince LoVoi. “John and Ann-Clore continue our tradition of a strong and diverse Board of Directors recognized across the state. John Feaver is one of the most highly respected leaders of higher education in Oklahoma, while Ann-Clore Duncan brings a wealth of experience and passion from the non-profit sector.”
OK Policy also announced that Albert “Kell” Kelly has resigned from the Board of Directors effective February 1st. Kelly, President and CEO of Spirit Bank, had served on the organization’s Board since just after its founding in 2008.
“We are tremendously grateful to Kell for his years of service and commitment to OK Policy,” said LoVoi. “He provided us with wise and thoughtful advice on numerous issues, and contributed greatly to the success of the organization. We look forward to his continued support and involvement in the years ahead.
In addition to LoVoi, Feaver and Duncan, other Board members include Don Millican, Nancy Robertson, Steve Burrage, Susan Neal, and Linda Edmondson.
Oklahoma Policy Institute is a non-partisan 501(c)(3) organization that was founded in 2008. It works to promote adequate, fair, and fiscally responsible funding of public services and expanded opportunity for all Oklahomans by providing timely and credible information, analysis, and ideas.
